The short version
Genug uses the information you choose to provide to create private, personalized visualization sessions. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to serve advertising.
Information we handle
This can include your email address, display name, Persona answers, session preferences, thoughts, journal entries you allow for personalization, Vision Board items and optional notes, generated audio metadata, session feedback, and basic product events such as whether a session started or reached 80% completion.
Product analytics never intentionally include your journal text, Persona text, email address, images, or audio content.
How it is used
We use account data to save your work across devices, prepare and deliver sessions, secure the service, control generation costs, understand whether the core experience works, and respond to feedback. Journal entries excluded from personalization remain in your journal and are not included in session requests.
When you allow personalized AI processing, the service may derive a private set of evidence-based aspirations, preferences, and recurring themes from these inputs. This context exists only to improve future sessions. It is rebuilt when source information changes and removed when your account is deleted.
Service providers
Genug currently relies on Supabase for authentication, database, and private file storage; Google Gemini and Google Cloud Text-to-Speech for script, image understanding, and speech generation; Stripe for payments; and Vercel for application hosting. Pinterest content is contacted only when you choose to add a Pinterest link. These providers process information only to supply the relevant service.
Control and retention
You can export your Persona, preferences, thoughts, and journal or permanently delete your account from Settings. Active account data is kept while you use the service. Deletion removes your live account records and private files. De-identified product events may remain for aggregate measurement, and limited backup copies may remain temporarily under infrastructure providers' normal backup cycles. Stripe may retain transaction records where required for financial, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations even after its customer record is deleted.
Your AI choice
Before personal information is sent to Google's AI services, Genug asks for your explicit permission and names the information involved. You can withdraw that permission in Settings. Existing saved content remains available, while new AI analysis and generation stop until permission is given again.
Security and questions
We use private storage, authenticated access rules, and reasonable technical safeguards, but no online system can promise absolute security. For a privacy question or request, sign in and choose “Share feedback” from the profile menu.
